We’ve been Designing, Building and Repairing Horseboxes for over 30 years

Our Reputation

Chaigley Horseboxes is a proud family-run Lancashire business with over 30 years of dedicated experience in the horsebox manufacturing industry. Throughout the decades, we have built a strong reputation for producing high-quality, reliable and stylish horseboxes that prioritize both safety and comfort.

Our expert craftsmanship and attention to detail ensure that every horsebox we build meets the highest standards of durability and performance.

Our Team

The management team now includes two generations of the family. The drive and day to day management of the company rests with brothers Doug & Tom, who are supported by the 30 plus years experience of their father, Trevor.

The Chaigley craftsmen are a mix of youth and experience, all with their unique skills to design, build and repair horseboxes.

This is Lee our longest serving team member who started with the company on day one!

We specialize in the design and production of 3.5 tonne to 4.5 tonne horseboxes, offering versatile and practical solutions for horse owners.

That’s why every horsebox we produce is equipped with reinforced bulkheads, reinforced sidewalls, heavy-duty EVA rubber and thick aluminium-planked ramps. What makes it even better is that the horse box now works perfectly not only for our horses, but also for our dogs and as a campervan. It is genuinely versatile and has opened up so many more possibilities for how we can use it.
